La storia dello strumento più popolare al mondo ripercorsa in un programma che parte dalle trascrizioni per liuto per arrivare al ‘900 con la musica sincopata di Django Reinhardt e Charlie Christian e, brano dopo brano di decade in decade, arriva ai giorni nostri.

Sul palco, dieci chitarre: dalla classica alla chitarra jazz, dalla folk al dobro sino al bouzoki,
al cuatro venezuelano ed
al tres cubano.
Ogni brano trova il suo strumento e l'insieme diventa la
scenografia naturale del concerto.
The history of the world's most popular instrument, retraced through a program that begins with lute transcriptions, moves into the 20th century with the syncopated music of Django Reinhardt and Charlie Christian, and travels decade by decade all the way to the present day.
Classical, swing, latin, tango, country, and blues are just a few of the genres in which the guitar has carved out a leading role—styles brought back to life in the GUITAR STORY concert.
On stage, ten guitars: from classical to hollow-body, from acoustic folk to dobro, bouzouki, Venezuelan cuatro, and Cuban tres. Each piece finds its ideal instrument, and the collection itself becomes the natural stage design of the performance.

Il progetto unisce Paolo Ballardini – chitarrista con oltre vent'anni di esperienza professionale tra produzioni televisive (Orchestra RAI), tour nei principali musical nazionali (Mamma Mia!, Chicago, Pretty Woman) e palchi internazionali al fianco di artisti leggendari (tra cui Martin Barre dei Jethro Tull, John Helliwell dei Supertramp e Moya Brennan) – e Mauro Vero – diplomato in chitarra classica al Conservatorio di Cuneo, turnista e compositore attivo da trent'anni tra produzioni discografiche, programmi televisivi e radiofonici nazionali (RAI e Mediaset), e sui palchi al fianco di importanti artisti della scena italiana (tra cui Nicola Di Bari e Franco Fasano)
THE ARTISTS
The project brings together Paolo Ballardini – a guitarist with over twenty years of professional experience across national TV productions (RAI Orchestra), major musical theatre tours (Mamma Mia!, Chicago, Pretty Woman), and international stages alongside legendary artists (such as Martin Barre of Jethro Tull, John Helliwell of Supertramp, and Moya Brennan) – and Mauro Vero – a classical guitar graduate from the Cuneo Conservatory, session player, and composer active for thirty years across recording productions, national television and radio broadcasts (RAI and Mediaset), and performing alongside prominent artists of the Italian music scene (including Nicola Di Bari and Franco Fasano).
